Instructor: Casey Cheuvront Date: Saturday, January 11th Time: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm Class Description: Join artist Casey Cheuvront in this Traveler's Watercolor and Wash class. Enjoy this watercolor class where you will learn the skill of combining ink with your watercolor. Class Fee: $125 Materials Fee: $55 - Optional fee Optional $55 fee to be paid directly to the instructor. All supply kits must be ordered and paid for directly through Casey no later than January 3rd. Please see the materials list below. Materials List: Bring to class (or pay the materials fee and all supplies will be provided for you) - Watercolor sketch journal:
wire or bound, at least 90 lb paper (140lb preferred, cotton ideal) (Strathmore, Arches, Cottonwood Arts make some very nice journals (note that watercolor block is also usable but not a sketchbook per se.) Any reasonably portable watercolor kit; student grade or better (e.g. Cotman, Winsor Newton, Sennelier) 2H, H, or HB, and sharpener, and Kneaded eraser waterbrushes are fine – indeed, preferred for field sketching (smaller flats or rounds, your choice; I use both) or similar waterproof pen (e.g. Sharpie extra fine line gel) - **Paper towels and a trash bag

Class Minimum: 5 students (this class must have at least 5 students enrolled, or the class will be canceled/rescheduled) Class Maximum: 15 students **Please note this class will begin inside the studio and then, weather permitting, will move outside** Chairs will be provided (both inside and outside), but you may wish to bring your own portable chair, hat, sunscreen, water, snacks/sack lunch. All students must be 18+ to attend this class
