Instructor: Crystal White Date: Sunday, Jan 12th, 2025 Time: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Cost: FREE - Sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Carefree Description: Explore the exciting world of printmaking in this fun and creative youth art class, focused on Gelli printing! Students will learn how to use Gelli plates to create vibrant, one-of-a-kind prints, experimenting with textures, colors, and layering techniques. This hands-on workshop introduces the basics of monoprinting, where each print is unique and full of possibilities.
Participants will experiment with various tools like stencils, brushes, and found objects to create beautiful, abstract, and even nature-inspired prints. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and imagination! By the end of the class, students will have a collection of colorful prints to take home and display.
This class is perfect for young artists who are eager to discover new ways of expressing themselves through printmaking Materials: All materials included. Art may be messy, please dress accordingly. Students may want to bring their water bottle and a snack to class. - Class is limited to 15 students
